Graduation Cake

Congratulations to my big brother, Dylan, and his friend, Tate who just graduated 8th grade. The top layer was a gluten free chocolate for Tate’s mom, and the bottom was red velvet that was supposed to have chocolate chips. We forgot to mix the chips into the batter, so I put them on top. After the cake baked, the chips didn’t sink and we had to cut off the top, including the chips, to even the cake. The frosting was a cream cheese buttercream. There might have been a little much frosting on the cake, but overall it was really good.
